Climate change, human nature and otherness are the main topics of Leia’s recent works in which she presents her commitment to sustainability and ongoing exploration of her Romanian heritage and personal identity. A sharp wit, exaggeration and visual experiments are the characteristics of Leia’s artistic language. Leia uses only upcycled materials to produce her works.

What's your Issue?
‘What’s Your Issue?’ is an art exhibition by local Youth Arts Collective, featuring work from young people from Ballybough Youth Service, Belvedere Youth Project, East Wall Youth, the International Youth Club and SWAN Youth Service in partnership with artist Shireen Shortt.
Culture Night 2023
D-Light Studios is proud to be partnering with Luke McManus, director of North Circular, along with their other ‘housemates’ in the studio, Native Events who offer sustainable event solutions and H&G Creations who are a bespoke experiential event agency. Together they present a trio of captivating experiences for Culture Night, where art, music, and wellbeing come together to light up your senses and ignite your imagination.

In Our Own Image Youth Engagement Project
The aim of the Youth Engagement Project was to provide new skills, confidence and sense of achievement, but also to spark ongoing engagement between young artists and professional photographers in a mentorship capacity.
The Rise - In Our Own Image / Chapter Six
A year-long programme surveying photographic practices in Ireland. On show in D-Light Studios, The Rise is curated by Blow Photo curators Agata Stoinska and Monika Chmielarz. The exhibition features nine young photographers whose work indicates new directions in contemporary photography.
D-Light Wellbeing Day
D-Light Studios and The Five Lamps Arts Festival have joined forces along with support from the NEIC to present a special one day yoga and wellbeing festival to take place in D-Light Studios in the heart of Dublin 1 on the 15th of October.
